Jake Dingle
Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director
Jake started at Carbon Revolution in 2008 as one of the initial investors and founders. He has decades of experience in engineering, operations, strategy, and M&A within Australian-listed companies. Jake previously worked as the head of M&A and Corporate Development for Goodman Fielder, and he has also held positions at BCG, L.E.K., and Tenix Defence Systems. Jake holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from RMIT with First Class Honours, an MBA from the Melbourne Business School (Dean’s List and Rupert Murdoch Fellow) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Gerard Buckle
Chief Financial Officer
Gerard joined Carbon Revolution in September 2019. Gerard is an experienced senior executive with a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement strategic plans and improve business performance. Gerard has previously held roles at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers, Olex, Repco, Jetstar and Orica, with previous CFO roles at Jetstar, Orica and Olex.
Dr Ashley Denmead
Chief Technology Officer and Founder
A founder of Carbon Revolution, Ashley has more than 18 years of experience in developing and commercialising technology, leading product design and technology direction. Ashley has extensive experience in virtual and physical prototyping composite parts for automotive, marine, and industrial applications. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science (Deakin University) and a PhD in composite materials and processing (Deakin University).
Alia Comai
Chief Revenue Officer
Alia joined Carbon Revolution in May 2024 as Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining Carbon Revolution, Comai held multiple senior positions at various Automotive Tier-1s with global responsibilities covering both global Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle markets. Comai began her career as a product development engineer at Chrysler and subsequently has held progressive, cross-functional roles with leading Tier-1 automotive suppliers such as Magna, Nippon Seiki, Bosch, Neapco, and others over a twenty-five plus year span. Alia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Windsor and a Master of Business Administration from University of Detroit Mercy.
CHRIS RECKTENWALD
Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain and Chief Transformation Officer
Chris Joined Carbon Revolution in February 2024 as Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain and was subsequently appointed to the role of Chief Transformation Officer. Before joining Carbon Revolution, Recktenwald held multiple senior positions over his 10 years at Ford Motor Company, including, most recently, Global Director, Exterior and Structural Systems Purchasing. Chris also has experience leading large-scale industrial transformations as a management consultant at PRTM and PwC. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cedarville University, a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University, and an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
Dave French
Vice President, Operations
Dave joined Carbon Revolution in February 2022 and was appointed Vice President of Operations in December 2022. Dave brings almost 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, working in locations such as Australia, China, the US, and Thailand. Previously, Dave was a PAC Group (USA) advisory board member, specialising in business alliance development. He has extensive experience in business planning and strategy, product program delivery, product development systems, and manufacturing plant management. Dave holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Adelaide University (Hons).
David Nock
General Counsel, Company Secretary
David joined Carbon Revolution in August 2017 and was appointed Company Secretary in September 2017. David has previously held roles with listed Australian, US and European entities, including Regional Commercial Director, Oakley Asia Pacific (Luxottica Group S.p.A.), Regional General Counsel, Quiksilver Asia Pacific (Quiksilver, Inc.), and roles at Publishing & Broadcasting Limited and Village Roadshow Limited. David holds an Arts and Law Degree (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from the Melbourne Business School (Dean’s List).
Andrew Higginbotham
Operations Director
Andrew joined Carbon Revolution in May 2021, having previously worked for Ford Motor Company as Operations Director and Plant Manager, leading up to 1400 employees with an operating budget of $90 million. Andrew has held leadership roles in assembly, machining, stamping and quality operations, with experience in the United States and Japan. Andrew holds a Master's in Advanced Manufacturing from RMIT and a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Monash University.
